I made my dear husband throw out his ratty old scarf during this years closet purge — unfortunately that leaves him bare-necked (better than bare naked?). He had purchased a teensy amount of roving at Rhinebeck Sheep & Wool last year so I thought just perhaps if he spun it up it might be enough for a little scarf to keep his neck warm under his winter coat.
I looked through one of my stitch pattern books and thought a nice herringbone or diagonal rib would work with this variegated merino. I found an option in my Knit & Purl book.
Not sure if I love the outcome. Plus, I’m not convinced there is enough for a scarf. The slump continues.
